Smoked Bone In Turkey Breast

Smoked turkey breast for Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Defrost turkey breast
  2. Mix water, 1/2 cup salt, and 1/2 cup sugar in a container for brining
  3. Place turkey breast in the brine overnight
  4. Brine should cover the meat completely
  5. Remove turkey breast from brine and dry
  6. Apply thin layer of mayonnaise to turkey breast as a binder for the seasonings
  7. Use any seasonings you wish
  8. Heat smoker to 250°F
  9. Place meat in smoker
  10. Smoke until meat is about 165°F; about 3 hours
